During this time, Gesshoku and her team of warriors are doing all they can to help their own side. The character relationships is a little bit broken through the second half, but it is extremely entertaining nonetheless. Overall, for the story, I felt that it was very enjoyable. While the gameplay was quite boring, as it usually was in the previous games, the cutscenes were really good. I would consider it an essential for Samurai Warriors players.

The story of Samurai Warriors 3 is very similar to the previous instalments. On the surface, it looks like the exact same game, but it has improved on almost every aspect. This game provides a story that is more focused on personal stories rather than killing warlords. This game also takes more of a real-time strategy approach to combat, while preserving the franchise's hack n slash roots. Samurai Warriors 3 is one of the best Sengoku games we have ever played. It has beautiful graphics and solid gameplay. It is a very enjoyable and polished hack n slash game. It is definitely one of the best games on the PS2.
